I can't believe Sarah will be 3 on Sunday. Sometimes it really does feel like I just had her, and then I turned around and she is 3 already. She is so special. Full of life, beautiful, tender-hearted, "spirited" as I have heard her called. I feel for her being stuck in the middle and no longer the baby. I wonder what that must feel like, never having had a sibling of my own. I know it has been a lot for Sarah to bear, because not only is she not the baby anymore, but with Abby being so sick, Sarah has had to grow up quick.
Sarah's request for her birthday this year was a Hello Kitty cake. So grandmama is making the cake and we are having the party at Hoover Veteran's Park. We call it the fake grass park. I hope that the weather stays good for the party. There is a 30% chance of showers this afternoon. Sarah so deserves a special time today. She is an amazing, wonderful creature and I am so thankful that God entrusted her to me.
